11/7 MRI update-
Hello all!

Just wanted to give a quick update as the Holiday seasons are right around the corner! WOO-HOO! = ) Our favorite time of year!

Anyways, Phillip had an MRI on Nov.7th. All was the same. No new news. Which is great news! Phillip has really been feeling good lately! He had been having his partial seizures pretty frequently. They can be caused from stress, high emotions, loud noises...but they in turn cause more anxiety which keeps the cycle going. So Dr. Fink finally gave the go ahead to get him switched over to new seizure medication. He has been fully on the new medication for about 2 months now and has really been feeling a lot better! SO we are BOTH so thankful for that! = )

Little Kasen is 16 months. He is growing like a weed! Running full on around the house, talking up a storm and just such a joy! He constantly does things that make us all smile and laugh. He learns new things everyday and it’s just the cutest thing ever! We have been very blessed to have a sweet and easy little boy! He has the best daddy in the whole world that truly takes SUCH good care of him and is always trying to teach him something new!

We will go back to see Dr. Fink 6 months from November, sometime in May. We thank you for keeping up with us and checking back to see how things are going. Sorry I don't update more often on what we are doing. All my boys sure do keep me busy! = ) But I love every minute of it!

In His grip,
Sara

Update on the Kreymers!
A lot has been going on in our world with the new little man in our lives! Clearly so busy that haven't gotten on here and updated in a L-O-N-G time!!!

7-7-2011 we got the honor (ha-ha!) of being able to go in and see Dr. Fink. Phillip had been having more symptoms such as his partial seizures, auras, headaches/pressure...so Im not going to lie...there was a little anxiety going into this appointment. But at the same time we also felt deep down in our hearts that everything was ok. So Dr. Fink walked in and gave him the "trophy" for the day...it was a copy of some of his scans from 10/27/2008 and now, 7/7/2011...the trophy was to signify how well he is doing! The trophy is to put up on our fridge as a daily reminder of his progress he has made and continues to make! She explained that the pictures show a smaller tumor from 2008 from when he completed his radiation/chemo treatments! So, as well as Phillip is doing and as great as it is to hear this kind of news, we do Praise our Lord and thank Him daily for that...but that does not mean that every day is a piece of cake! It is helpful to have our trophy on the fridge to look at and remember that everything IS OK!
Since then we have added in a new seizure medication in hopes to stop his partial seizures and auras! He is trying Lamictal along with the Keppra he has been on. If we see improvement with the Lamictal, the goal is to then get off Keppra. I personally feel the Lamictal is helping, but I guess we shall see! He has to complete a 3 month long starter kit to see how he responds to it.
In the midst of this great news, we do ask for continued prayers! Prayers also that the medication works and helps to stop his seizures! We are SO very thankful to our Lord for his provisions and to Dr. Fink for taking such great care of him!

Much love to you! Thank you for taking the time to check on us here!

In HIS grip,
Sara, Phillip, and Kasen!

Oh and by the way, Kasen is 1 now!!! He is walking all over the place and just talks up a storm! It is crazy how fast this year has gone, but every day watching him do something new is the best feeling in the world! He is amazing and he is our ANGEL!!!!!

3/28 GOOD REPORT!
We are just a tad bit late on updating the news. As you all know, we have a new addition to our family. Kasen Brooks is almost nine months old!
Thank you all for the prayers! Phillip's MRI last Monday was good. There has been no change, "Stable." This was our first time to wait for six months for the MRI!! We always appreciate your messages we get, so thank you again. Quick question- Do you know...and we assume you all do know this- When we have a prayer request and take the time to pray to God it is also a way to worship our creator, our Lord!! Amen!

Please note: Right now there is a web issue trying to contact us. Internet Exployer is not working. If you use Mozilla Firefox for your internet it does work.

Help Support Brain Tumor Research! Nov. 6th!!!

Hey,

It's that time of the year... The Brain Tumor Walk for 2010.
We would personally appreciate you joining our team by walking beside our family and/or donating a bit to find the cure for brain tumors.

It has been three tough years with this, but Phillip is a SURVIVOR! AMEN -God has a wonderful plan for us. The walk is tough, and very emotional. But it is important to us to continue to help search for a treatment that makes this liveable for everyone! All donations help towards finding that ultimate treatment! If you are not able to walk/donate this year we appreciate prayers for Phillip and for finding a treatment!

For all those who were there at the walk last year, donated and prayed, Thank you! Last year our goal was $5,000 and we raised over $6,500!!

God Bless and we'll see you on 11/6. This year we are excited that Kasen will be able to be a part of it! It was one year ago that I found out we were expecting him! What a blessing!!!

Kasen
“From the fullness of grace we have received one blessing after another” John 1:16

We have been blessed! A couple months have passed me by, but our Angel from above is here, Kasen. He was born July 11 at 8:57am. He was welcomed into the world with his daddy and mimi by my side. He weighed 7lbs 5oz and was 19 1/2 in. long. As you can imagine the last couple of months have been quite a change for us, but we are loving every minute of it! He is 2 months old now and smiles and laughs all the time. He is working on holding his head up, which he is doing a really good job at! He is actually a good sleeper. He takes little naps throughout the day, but he is mastering the night time sleep part!

He is a happy baby for sure! He LOVES his daddy! Daddy really knows how to make him smile! I am off work until Oct. 4th. So I am really dreading my time off with him coming to an end. I’m sad of course for me that I have to go back to work, but I’m sad for him that his world is so drastically about to change!

“Every good and perfect gift is from above.” James 1:17

Going home!
